Manufacturing defects

All our products (lenses, frames and treatments) are guaranteed for 12 months against manufacturing defects, including peeling, discoloration, scaling and other problems arising from normal usage. Accidental breakage is not covered by this warranty.

Progressive lenses

All our progressive lenses are covered by a 60-day adaptation guarantee. Within this period, the lenses will be changed free-of-charge for lenses of equivalent value.

Scratch resistance, anti-glare/anti-scratch

Lens treatments are guaranteed against scratches for one or two years, depending on the product. This warranty applies to normal usage only. Accidental breakage and deep marks are not covered.

Rimless or nylon wire frames

We offer an additional warranty on our rimless and nylon wire frames. Breaks and spiderweb cracks around the holes or near the nylon wire are guaranteed for 30 days (normal use only).

Tint with permanent treatment (coating)

We guarantee that all tints match the selected sample. Subsequent changes in the tint are not guaranteed. Since the tint is sealed in by the treatment coating, it is impossible to change it.

Light-sensitive lenses

Photochromic treatments are activated by contact with UV rays. Over time, a pale residual tint may remain in the lens when you are indoors.

Light-sensitive glass lenses

Over time, the residual tint in glass lenses is darker than in plastic lenses.

Adjustment to a new prescription

For the first seven to ten days after getting a new prescription, people sometimes feel a little disoriented. It is important to wear the new glasses anyway, to allow the eyes to adjust to the change. We offer a 30-day adjustment guarantee on new prescriptions issued by our optometrists.
